I’m so proud. My mother completed her shrug.

Isn’t it beautiful? I’m so pleased with her work that I could just pop!

My mother visited last night. We had such a fun time. She wrote a lovely guest column for the blog about my preparing her dinner late last night… oops.

Guest Blog Column by Rebecca Ann:

Egg Sammich 101
(An Excerpt from Life’s Lesson book: No More Wine After Nine)
“We forgot to eat — I’m hungry, are you hungry? Want an egg sammich?”
Turn on skillet
Have some wine
Get out eggs, bacon, cheese, mayo
Discuss bread choices and finally settle on one
Put bacon in microwave; bread in toaster
Oops - lights out
Flip breaker switch
Have some wine
Cook bacon, THEN toast bread, got it!
Skillet smoking - too hot! Turn off stove to cool skillet.
Have some wine while waiting for skillet to cool.
OK, where were we?
Toast - done
Bacon - done
Add mayo, cheese - done
Eggs - Oh, forgot. Turn on stove and wait for skillet to heat.
Finally cook eggs - yay!
Put together and serve with a cold glass of milk - Delicious!
Time to prepare 5-minute egg sammich: 20 min.
