My friend Lee turned me on to this one. A Waffle House Wedding (I shit you not.) This is the funniest thing I’ve seen in quite some time- thanks Lee for brightening my day! I didn’t know you had a blog too! I look forward to reading all about you over my next nightcap. You’ve got to love blogs, such a great way to get support and keep up with people, it has been a life saver for me as of late.

I’ve been pondering, this whole having your life destroyed process is actually that, it is a process. I’ve had highs and lows and been a dutiful blogger through it all. Maybe my pain will eventually help someone else that has had to confront this issue.  (CONTENT DELETED SINCE I’VE GROWN UP A BIT.)

There are weak days and there are strong days and will continue to be of both, though the strong will get stronger and more plentiful. Good for you for having a strong day!

Jeff Says:

Well said.

The trash is at the curb, and isn’t it amazing how it all eventually congregates together at the landfill?

Shari Says:

The Waffle House Wedding is great! I especially liked the shot in the slide show of the wedding rings stuck in a waffle.
You are going to be fine, Amanda, and we all love you. It’s okay to breath thin air. Thin is good. By the way, you are looking sleek and thin these days. I’ve got to get back to the gym with you. You are an inspiration.

Arnold Says:

You go girl!!! Something funny to add to the Waffle House bit, lol. I went to high school with them, and used to live across the street from Waffle House, whoot whoot! No matter how thin the air gets just breath and everything else will follow! and dont for get to be taking your breaks at work, even if it is to sit out side for a moment.

Spazzmanda Says:

Arni! Did they invite you to the wedding? I would have been very sad to be left out of such an event, it looked so special!

Melly Says:

I like pie! :)

*hugs* Hang in there!

Jen K. Says:

mmmmmm…. chocolate cream pie!!! have you seen the movie The Waitress? Cute movie, and all through it, the girl makes up these pies in her head (in a soft little southern accent, so it’s pah, not pie) and names them things like “i-hate-my-husband-pie” and then proceeds to list out what she would put in it. you’re a groovy chick and your doing great throuh all this mess!

Missy Says:

Hey Amanda - we’re only met a couple times, and you probably don’t remember me, but I read your blog as a silent participant. I hate to see what you are going though, and my heart breaks for you. I think you’ve been incredibly civil through it all, much more so than most people I know could be. Ignore the haters, those who can only say negative things usually lead lonely lives and just want someone to be in their company. Life will get better - I promise - it just takes time.

Rachel Says:

I had this friend once in middle school (we shall call her Shmulie Shitstain) and Shmulie always came over to my house and complained about this or that. She said my room smelled funny and she didn’t like that my walls were covered in unframed Teen magazine pictures. I was always doing things to please Shmulie and make my house more pleasant for her. Then one day, my ole crazy dad told me that I should tell Shmulie to piss off and stay at her own house if she didn’t like the smell of mine. So I did because I really liked the smell of patchouli and oatmeal mixed together and I thought Sebastian Bach looked great without a frame and who the hell was she to come sniffing around my private areas in the first place! I think I lost the point of this story…..something about integrity…I should really write children’s books though.
