I hate to tell you - just because you own a house, doesn't make it any easier. It actually gets worse. This year - I told Mike that next year I wanted to start traveling again to family instead of having them over because of all the cleaning, hosting and tensions that come from having people in your house and in your SPACE. Besides - when you visit other people's home, they get to take care of you and you have no obligations other than being a good guest and helping out with chores or things the 'Rents just can't do (like program the VCR/DVR).
