Yes, inded it is true. As of today I now have wireless access to the internets ,at my place of residence, and I’m currently blogging from the comfort of my couch. I’d take a picture and show you, but I don’t know where to put the photo card yet- although I hear this is a feature I can manipulate to my will at a later date.
First order of bizness- bitch out customer service at kpixie.com. Two weeks for a piece of paper? No piece of paper after two weeks? This is beyond redonculous.
So, I have had to formulate my response:Ahem….
Dear (Customer Service Representative Evilness),
Greetings. It has now been two weeks since I ordered the Baby Bobbi Bear pattern from kpixie.com.
I know that this was not a very ‘exciting’ order. I also want you to know that, at times, I have been known to order yarn online, knit with said yarn, and talk/blog/rave about the fibery yummyness with my friends- generally reveling in its wooly/silky/what have you- decadence.
But, alas, this was just a simple, very un-sexy, purchase of a solitary pattern.
Although I appreciate that, you, at kpixie.com have quality standards to which you vehemently adhere- which necessitate the shipping of simple patterns in fancy boxes that take up to two weeks to arrive- I would also suspect that those same quality standards would be called into question when after two weeks, there is still no pattern in my mailbox.
This is a very simple transaction made even more easy by living in a modern society. We are talking about a piece of paper, and although I am most discontent with this entire process, I still really want to make this bear. Whether or not I want to shop with kpixie.com again yet remains to be seen.
I propose several possible solutions. Could the piece of paper be faxed to me? Maybe emailed? Sent by morse code? It seems to me that there are NUMEROUS methods that are much more expeditious than whatever form of snail mail you all are currently using. After all, if I am not mistaken, you are located in Massachusetts, not the Moon.
Thank you for your time, I am looking forward to your response.
Sincerely,
(Spazz)
We shall see, my friends, we shall see.
